Abstracts are randomly painted. The end result is always a surprise. For example, BEE EATER, started as a bird painting. The bird was beautifully painted but boring. Instead of tossing it, Amy let her unconscious mind fill in the background. BIRD IN A BOX is a collage of a tropical bird from a painting repurposed.
